  • Create, update, and apply HR policies, procedures, and best-practice guidelines.
  • Work with managers on coaching, employee growth, and performance reviews.
  • Handle workers’ compensation matters, unemployment claims, and required HR compliance reporting.
  • Build HR dashboards, payroll summaries, and workforce analytics for leadership review.
  • Support employee training, engagement programs, and company-wide events.
  • Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and broader organizational strategy.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources management is required.
  • Practical, hands-on payroll processing experience is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll platforms such as ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or comparable systems.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to protect sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Certifications and Experience

  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are preferred.
