Overview

S&R Group is hiring a Human Resources Officer to support core people operations and staffing activities at its Brampton, Ontario location.

Work setting

This position is based entirely on site in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The work is performed at the physical workplace and is not eligible for remote work.

Experience

Responsibilities

• Manage staff consultation and grievance processes.
• Assess present and future workforce needs.
• Offer employee support services, including counselling and assistance.
• Draft and publish job notices and advertisements.
• Receive, review, and shortlist applicant submissions.
• Explain hiring requirements and employment terms to candidates.
• Maintain and review candidate pools and talent inventories.
• Reach out to suitable applicants to schedule interviews.
• Take part in selection panels and testing boards to assess candidates.
• Guide managers and employees on staffing rules and procedures.
• Coordinate staff consultation and grievance handling activities.
• Confirm eligibility for entitlements and organize staff training arrangements.
• Oversee personnel clerks handling filing, typing, and records management.
• Support the recruitment and hiring of employees.
