Overview

This role is for a Quality Control Inspector based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position focuses on monitoring rolled products, checking conformity against required standards, and ensuring that any defects or nonconforming items are identified, separated, and documented correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect rolled products in line with the applicable standards and classification rules.
• Escalate any nonconforming output to the mills right away so corrective action can be taken and further defective production reduced.
• Handle all inspection-related duties, including identifying, separating, and controlling items that do not meet requirements, in accordance with the Quality System program.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, ASME Code requirements, and customer specifications.
• Perform re-inspection after rectification or retesting and assign the appropriate classification.
• Document inspection findings, count defects, and prepare inspection and test reports accurately.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in quality control or inspection.
• Diploma-level qualification is required.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work with standards, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with identifying defects and handling nonconforming materials.

Additional Information

This role involves inline inspection, defect classification, segregation of rejected items, and re-inspection after corrective work. The position also requires maintaining records and supporting inspection/test reporting processes.
