Intern Analyst

Role overview

Infinitum Capital is seeking a standout intern to join a team that works across private equity, real estate, credit, and other alternative investment areas. The role sits at the crossroads of investment banking, asset management, and multi-family office capital. From the outset, the intern is expected to contribute to active mandates rather than shadowing the team.

What you will work on

• Create and pressure-test financial models for live transactions, with responsibilities that go well beyond classroom-style exercises.
• Prepare investment memoranda at an institutional standard for review by senior decision-makers and external counterparties.
• Communicate directly with investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, and credit funds.
• Support sourcing efforts and help develop the transaction pipeline.
• Coordinate with legal advisors, tax specialists, and capital providers on transactions in progress.
• Build exposure to both buy-side and sell-side work within a single fast-paced environment.

What the team is looking for

• A strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Advanced capability in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build models independently.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a very high standard of accuracy.
• A curious, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
• Previous exposure to investment banking or private equity is helpful, but not mandatory.
