Role Overview

As an Investor at NYVIX, you will work full time from the Greater Sydney Area office. Your core focus will be to assess investment opportunities, analyze financial and market data, and develop well-reasoned recommendations for internal decision-makers. The position also involves tracking current holdings, studying market movement, reviewing financial statements, and engaging with company leaders, advisors, or partners to gather qualitative context. In addition, you will help shape strategy discussions, assist with due diligence, and keep investment and portfolio records accurate and up to date. Close coordination with teams across finance, operations, and strategy will be important to ensure alignment with NYVIX’s broader goals.

Key Qualifications

• Strong ability to analyze numbers and data, with confidence in financial modeling, market research interpretation, and quantitative assessment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for turning complex information into reports and briefings that are easy to understand.
• Good judgment and decision-making capability, especially when evaluating risk, comparing options, and making prudent investment recommendations.
• Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills for working with internal teams and outside stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a closely related subject; higher qualifications or certifications such as CFA are a plus.
• Background in investment analysis, portfolio management, corporate finance, or a similar area is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and Australian regulatory considerations is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site in Greater Sydney and handle several priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
