Role overview
The Entrepreneur 100 is looking for a junior-level IT Support Officer who is proactive, service-minded, and comfortable helping people with day-to-day technology issues. The role focuses on keeping IT systems running smoothly, resolving user problems, and supporting the wider team with reliable technical assistance.
Core responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and other system-related support needs.
- Set up, configure, and look after computers, devices, and applications used across the business.
- Help with network connection issues and perform basic system administration work.
- Record support tickets, keep track of them, and work toward timely resolution.
- Identify the root cause of technical issues and apply practical fixes.
- Work with internal teams to help maintain secure and dependable IT operations.
- Assist with software updates, backup processes, and routine maintenance tasks.
Required skills and profile
- Working knowledge of computers, operating systems, and basic networking ideas.
- Good problem-solving ability and a strong approach to troubleshooting.
- Clear communication and a helpful customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to organize tasks and handle several requests at once.
- Exposure to office productivity tools and IT support software is advantageous.
