Role overview
This is a remote, part-time opportunity for a Junior Analyst supporting the Alliance’s data work. The position focuses on gathering information, reviewing trends, preparing reports, and helping turn research into practical recommendations that strengthen strategic programs.
What you will do
- Collect, review, and organize data to support ongoing initiatives.
- Study trends and patterns, then convert findings into clear reports.
- Carry out research on policies related to gender and social issues.
- Assist with creating visual summaries and dashboards to present information effectively.
- Work with team members to develop insights that improve program outcomes.
- Support the preparation of recommendations that can guide decision-making.
What we are looking for
- Good analytical ability and research capability, with a strong eye for interpreting data.
- Hands-on familiarity with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets to manage and structure data.
- Background or interest in gender equity and public policy research is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills for writing reports and delivering presentations.
- Careful, organized, and capable of solving problems methodically.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related discipline.
