Junior Data Analyst

Role overview

This is a part-time remote opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst. The position supports the team by working with operational and sales data gathered from several bakery outlets. The aim is to help turn raw information into practical insights that improve day-to-day decisions, business performance, and customer experience.

What you'll do

• Gather, clean, and organize data from different bakery locations.
• Assist with basic analysis work and create simple reports and dashboards.
• Look for patterns and trends that can support better decision-making.
• Use spreadsheets and analytics tools to manage and review information.
• Record data-handling steps and processes clearly.
• Share findings in a straightforward way that can be understood by non-technical teams.
• Work with internal teams to help maintain data accuracy and support business growth initiatives.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong analytical ability and a basic foundation in data analysis.
• Introductory understanding of statistics and data modeling concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data simply.
• Comfort using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Exposure to basic reporting or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable work habits, and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
• A background in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, business, or a related subject is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Interest in retail, food service, or multi-location operations is considered a plus.
