Overview
This position sits within Scotiabank’s Canadian Data Platforms team in Canada. The role supports team goals and initiatives that contribute to business outcomes, while following all applicable regulations, internal policies, and procedures. What you’ll do
- Help foster a customer-first mindset across the team to strengthen client relationships and make better use of wider bank relationships, systems, and expertise.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business unit and with partner teams to build productive working relationships.
- Contribute effectively in Agile settings and work with practices and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
- Support efficient day-to-day operations while staying aligned with the organization’s values, code of conduct, and expectations around operational risk, privacy, and compliance.
- Contribute to an inclusive, high-performance workplace.
- Provide technical analysis and recommendations for new and existing solutions, with emphasis on building reliable and reusable outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality work products, including analysis, documentation, code, and test documentation.
- Create and update supporting materials such as best-practices documentation.
- Build and support automation that helps regression testing for existing code.
- Carry out manual QA validation when needed.
