About the role
Desigual is seeking a Key Holder for Orchards Central in Singapore. The brand values creativity, individuality, and innovation, and has been inspiring self-expression through fashion since 1984. This position supports the store leadership team in running the store effectively, maintaining brand standards, and delivering a strong customer experience.
Role objective
The main purpose of the role is to work alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in handling sales performance, billing, and team coordination, while helping the store meet targets, protect stock integrity, and preserve the brand image. The role also involves ensuring that company procedures and store guidelines are followed consistently.
Key responsibilities
The role is divided between customer-facing work and store operations/team support.
- Provide attentive customer service in line with Desigual standards to improve satisfaction and support sales.
- Drive sales and encourage customer loyalty through effective service and store engagement.
- Manage product presentation and maintenance tasks in the store, including alarms, folding, ironing, and similar activities.
- Handle customer arrangements such as exchanges, returns, reservations, and orders.
- Keep merchandise replenished continuously and ensure products are placed correctly on the sales floor.
- Support stock counts and participate in store inventory activities.
- Step in to monitor schedules and time-off planning when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable.
- Assist with workforce coordination, including conflict handling and maintaining a positive working environment.
- Carry out store opening and closing procedures and help oversee upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of the premises.
- Support control measures related to loss prevention, security, and shrinkage, working with central teams when needed.
- Operate and monitor point-of-sale processes such as pricing changes, cash discounts, and incident handling, as well as supervise collections.
- Track team KPIs, share information, provide training support, and help implement action plans to meet performance goals.
Requirements
Applicants should bring store experience, strong communication ability, and the confidence to help manage daily operations.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Key Holder or supervisor, or 2 years as a full-time Sales Assistant.
- Experience should be from a store with similar sales volume and size to the vacancy location.
- Education up to Bachillerato or vocational/technical training.
- Advanced-level English is required.
- Spanish language ability is considered an advantage.
- Basic IT knowledge at user level is needed.
