Job summary

Paradise Landscaping is hiring a Landscaper to help care for and improve outdoor spaces. The role involves routine grounds maintenance and landscape work such as mowing, planting, watering, raking, laying sod, and installing sprinklers to keep customer properties neat, healthy, and attractive.

The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in quality work, works well with others, and brings a positive attitude. Prior landscaper experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundskeeping tasks using basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge trimmers, brush trimmers, saws, or axes.
• Operate landscaping machinery and powered equipment, including mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and similar equipment.
• Water grass, trees, and plants using hoses, portable sprinkler systems, or watering cans.
• Trim and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, or chainsaws when needed.
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris from work areas.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional way.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and powered tools is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, lift 40+ pounds repeatedly, and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
