Role Summary
This is a remote contract opportunity for a logistics/supply chain professional to support a client’s operations through the Micro1 platform. The position focuses on improving supply chain performance, coordinating stakeholders, and helping the business run smoothly from anywhere in the United States.
Compensation
Pay is competitive and will depend on relevant experience.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day supply chain activities such as purchasing, logistics, and inventory control to keep deliveries timely and cost-efficient.
- Review current supply chain workflows, spot inefficiencies, and introduce improvements that raise productivity and lower operating costs.
- Partner with teams across sales, marketing, and product development to maintain alignment and clear communication.
- Create and execute supply chain plans, including risk reduction and continuity measures, to limit disruption to the business.
- Track supply chain KPIs and performance metrics, then report insights that support better decision-making and ongoing improvement.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate understands supply chain and logistics fundamentals, can analyze operational data, and is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. You should be able to contribute practical ideas, adapt to new tools, and help shape process improvements that support business growth.
Tools and Capabilities
Experience with supply chain software and systems is important, including the ability to work with Micro1 and quickly learn new platforms as needed.
