Role overview
The Logistics Specialist will assist the Regional Logistics Manager by keeping day-to-day warehouse-related activities on track, maintaining efficient processes, managing data with accuracy, and resolving issues promptly. In this position, you will serve as the main link between the third-party warehouse provider and internal VPG stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in coordination with the third-party warehouse partner.
- Serve as the initial contact for questions from carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipments proactively, share status updates, and manage special shipping requirements.
- Provide support on compliance matters, including customs and SOX-related topics.
- Act as the contact person for regional logistics software support such as QAD and TMS.
- Handle RMAs as part of the global reverse logistics process.
- Record and maintain logistics data accurately to support both current and future operational needs.
- Step in for the Regional Logistics Manager during vacation, sickness, or other absences.
