Descrizione del lavoro
About the role
This opportunity is for experienced quantitative specialists who want to help improve AI models. You’ll work with advanced AI systems on assignments such as judging AI-produced quantitative analysis, solving technical tasks, and sharing feedback that influences how these models handle data, modeling, and scientific reasoning.
The work is suited to people with backgrounds in fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other analytics-heavy disciplines. If you are used to thinking carefully about data, models, and logic, your experience is relevant here. Some contributors do this alongside another full-time position, while others make it their main focus.
How the process works
After creating an account, you complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If you are successful, you receive confirmation by email and paid projects become available through the platform.
What the contract offers
- You can decide which projects to take and when to work on them.
- The work can be done on your own schedule, using your own computer, from home.
- Compensation starts at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus pay.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated quantitative output for correctness and practical usefulness, including statistical work, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data-driven conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative problems used to train and evaluate AI systems, covering areas such as forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models designed for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative job or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Some programming experience is necessary, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experimental design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, plus excellent writing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field; a master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise is a plus, including items such as Kaggle rankings or AWS/GCP machine learning certifications.
Payment and engagement details
Payments are processed through PayPal. No payment or fee is ever requested from applicants. Currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
Location and eligibility
This role is open only to applicants based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Additional details
Relevant skills in quantitative research, coding, and technical communication are essential for success in this role. The job focuses on improving AI systems that reason about numerical and scientific problems.
