Role Overview
This position focuses on expanding a fashion, beauty, and baby brand portfolio in Saudi Arabia. The role combines brand acquisition, commercial negotiation, cross-functional coordination, and market analysis to support category growth in the KSA e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, approach, and bring on board new local and international brands across fashion, beauty, and baby categories.
- Plan and deliver brand acquisition strategies that support category expansion goals.
- Develop long-term working relationships with brand owners, distributors, and retail partners in the Saudi market.
- Negotiate business terms such as commission structures, marketing support, and partnership arrangements.
- Work closely with merchandising, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and launch process for new brands.
- Review performance data and brand sales results to spot opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Track market developments and competitor activity within the KSA e-commerce landscape.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to strengthen networks and create new partnerships.
Key Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required; an MBA is an advantage.
- Three to six years of experience in Business Development or Category Management, ideally within e-commerce and preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
- Experience with Namshi, Noon, Trendyol, Amazon, or other local KSA e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred.
- Strong English and Arabic communication skills, along with solid negotiation ability.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability.
- Background exposure to retail or offline fashion operations would be beneficial.
- A proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to manage pressure and multiple priorities.
- Comfort working extended hours when needed.
Performance Measures
- Number of newly onboarded local and international brands.
- GMV contribution generated by newly added brands.
- Partner satisfaction and retention levels.
- Speed and efficiency of the brand onboarding process.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly business development targets.
