Role Overview

EY is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for its Audit team in Doha. The position involves leading complex audit work, supporting business development, strengthening client and internal relationships, and ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee audit engagement delivery by planning the audit approach with the Senior Manager or Partner and executing work in line with EY policies and procedures. The role may also require you to perform advanced audit procedures yourself, lead full engagement teams or specific workstreams depending on assignment size, and manage the financial side of engagements through staffing coordination, fee tracking, and issue escalation to project leaders. In addition, you will contribute to business development efforts and help create a supportive environment that encourages learning and development within the team.

Skills and Attributes

The role calls for a proactive, accountable, and results-oriented professional who can manage priorities effectively, use resources wisely, and communicate clearly. A strong business mindset, confidence, and the ability to support innovation are also important.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in external audit.
• A strong academic background along with a recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
