About Imaging Associates
Imaging Associates (IA) is a doctor-led radiology group with a strong reputation for clinical quality and outstanding patient care. The organisation is growing quickly and operates clinics across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga.
Its approach is grounded in two priorities: delivering excellent clinical results and ensuring patients have a supportive, comfortable experience. IA continues to invest in advanced technology, build trusted relationships with referrers, and create welcoming clinic environments.
A new Doncaster clinic is scheduled to open in June 2026, and this role is part of that expansion.
About the Role
IA is looking for a motivated and patient-centred MRI Radiographer to join the brand-new Doncaster clinic, opening in mid-2026. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative team of multi-skilled radiographers across several modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
You will also work alongside highly experienced radiologists, giving you the chance to develop your skills further and progress your career in a supportive setting. This opportunity suits both radiographers with a few years of MRI experience and more experienced MRI radiographers seeking a new challenge in a well-supported environment.
What You Can Expect
- A varied caseload that supports faster professional development.
- Structured training, continuing professional development, and ongoing learning support.
- Close collaboration with reception, administration, clinical, and radiology teams.
- Mentoring and guidance from respected, experienced clinicians.
- Access to modern technology and equipment to support high-quality imaging.
- A healthy work-life balance with no night shifts, weekend work, or on-call duties.
- The opportunity to be part of a broader Imaging Associates network with room for collaboration and shared learning across clinics.
About You
The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and naturally patient-focused. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Selection Criteria
- At least 2 years of MRI experience and Level 1 MRI accreditation.
- Current AHPRA registration and a valid Victorian Radiation licence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to reassure patients.
- Careful attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Confidence working independently, while also contributing positively as part of a team.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Doncaster, Victoria, Australia. The new clinic is expected to open in June 2026, with the role tied to that opening timeline.
Applicants who are ready to help shape a new clinic and contribute to its success are encouraged to apply.
