Role Overview

This front desk night supervisor position in Doha is a full-time, on-site role within rooms and guest services operations. The job focuses on keeping overnight reception activity running smoothly, delivering attentive guest service, and ensuring all cash-handling, reporting, and check-in procedures are completed accurately.

What You’ll Do

  • Finalize cashier work and closing reports in the property system.
  • Go through shift handover notes and daily logbooks, then record any important updates for the next team.
  • Coordinate with the right departments or team members, such as bell services or housekeeping, to resolve guest questions, requests, or concerns.
  • Handle guest arrivals by confirming bookings, checking identity, collecting payment details, assigning rooms, and issuing key cards.
  • Offer rooms to walk-in guests when inventory is available.
  • Verify that room charges match the correct market codes and document any exceptions.
  • Make sure outlet charges, such as those from the health club or retail shop, are scanned and billed to the correct room.
  • Support the management team with training, performance review, coaching, counselling, discipline, and employee motivation.
  • Act as a lead contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Escalate accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
