Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Surat for an Owner or Writer supporting Dubai Key Insights. The role centers on building thoughtful, high-value content and strengthening the brand’s strategic voice.

What You’ll Do

You will research market movements and trends across Dubai and the GCC, develop fresh content ideas, and write polished material for LinkedIn and related channels. The work includes creating analytical posts, reports, and commentary, then improving content using feedback and performance insights. You’ll also ensure all content is accurate, clearly structured, and aligned with DKI’s editorial expectations.

In addition, the role involves helping define the content direction, keeping publishing timelines on track, and contributing to audience engagement and brand-building efforts. Success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, a proactive working style, and the ability to perform independently in a fast-paced information environment.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical thinking, with genuine interest in Dubai real estate, technology, AI, sports, government policy, and GCC markets.
• Excellent command of writing and editing, with the ability to create clear, concise, insight-led English content.
• Background in writing for LinkedIn or other professional platforms, with experience in audience-focused and data-backed storytelling.
• Ability to interpret news, reports, and data, then turn them into useful takeaways for investors and professionals.
• Comfort managing an editorial calendar, setting priorities, and consistently meeting deadlines.
• High accountability, initiative, and ownership mindset suitable for a lead Writer or Owner-type role.
• A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
• Exposure to digital analytics tools, basic SEO, and social media best practices would be an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Surat, collaborate with a small team, and uphold strong ethical and professional standards.
