About the Employer
National Vehicle Distribution (NVD) is a family-run business that began in 1980 to support vehicle manufacturers with reliable, damage-free delivery of their products. Over the years, the company has grown into a single-source logistics partner, covering outbound transport, storage, and vehicle enhancement before final handover. NVD has also been an early mover in digitising the finished vehicle logistics sector, using technology to improve speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for customers. Its focus on innovation and continuous service improvement remains central to the business.
Role Overview
This position is for an experienced panel beater to deliver high-standard vehicle body repairs in an accident repair centre. The work includes panel replacement, alignment, cosmetic repair, heavy structural repair, strip-and-refit tasks, welding, and chassis alignment, all completed to manufacturer and company quality standards. The role sits within a skilled bodyshop team and requires safe, efficient work with a strong focus on finish quality.
The successful candidate will handle everything from minor filler and plastic repairs through to more involved structural repairs. The job also involves using specialist equipment such as dent-pulling and welding systems, as well as preparing repaired panels for painting and final finishing. A strong eye for detail, a commitment to doing the job properly, and the ability to work flexibly on shifts are all important. Some basic computer knowledge is needed, though training will be provided. A full, clean Class B driving licence is mandatory.
