Role overview
An established financial services business in Colchester is looking to bring in an experienced Paraplanner to support its advisory team. The position is based in Colchester, Essex, and hybrid working is available. This is a permanent opportunity that combines stability, development, and a healthier work-life balance.
The client would ideally like someone who holds a diploma-level qualification and has several years of paraplanning experience, although they are open to the right candidate if the cultural fit is strong.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside financial advisers to build detailed financial plans for clients.
- Carry out research and analysis to help shape appropriate financial recommendations and strategies.
- Compile and update client records accurately, while keeping all work aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Paraplanner.
- A Level 4 qualification is required.
- A consistent employment history and evidence of commitment to previous roles are important.
