About the role

The People Partner is a commercially minded role that works closely with Operations Managers and other important stakeholders across the business. Partnering with operations and support teams, this role helps deliver people and business initiatives that support the wider strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with support functions to deliver people and operational projects aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Manage the employee journey accurately and efficiently from start to finish.
  • Guide General Managers and Operations Managers on when and how to escalate employee relations matters to the ER Partner.
  • Proactively advise on performance improvement plans for shop teams.
  • Lead people-focused initiatives and projects with support from the operations team and the wider people function.
  • Work with the Talent team when recruitment support is required.
  • Support the L&D team in delivering training programmes that build management capability and HR confidence within shop operations, while contributing ideas on content and delivery.
  • Own weekly and monthly reporting on people KPIs and provide useful insights from the data.
