Role Overview

This position is for a Plant Modelling / Thermal Modelling professional who will contribute to vehicle simulation and model development for electrified vehicle programs. The work involves building, improving, and delivering plant models that support virtual vehicle simulations, open-loop testing, and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine plant models to support Electrified Virtual Vehicle (EVV) simulation activities.
• Build and improve methods and tools used for plant model integration and open-loop validation.
• Provide the required models within committed timelines.
• Assist with delivery of plant models for expanding electrified vehicle use cases.

Required Knowledge and Skills

The role requires strong fundamentals in physics, especially across mechanical, electrical, and thermal domains. Candidates should have hands-on familiarity with model development tools and vehicle system concepts.

• Modelica and OpenModelica
• AMESim
• Dymola
• GT-Suite
• Matlab / Simulink
• Vehicle architecture understanding
• Knowledge of electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle systems
• Thermal system modelling
• Plant model development

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in any specialization.
