The position is part of the wider support team that keeps daily operations running smoothly in a busy prison environment.
What you will do
You will support a range of day-to-day security and operational activities, including gate checks, managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV. The work is fast-moving and requires a calm, practical approach. Although prisoner contact is limited compared with prison officers, some interaction may happen depending on the prison.

Shift pattern and working style
The role involves a range of shifts, including weekends and night shifts, to support 24/7 prison operations.
