Role Description

The Private Driver will provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation services for company personnel and goods related to NESSIM Fishing Processing Company. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Serrekunda. Daily responsibilities include driving assigned vehicles, planning routes, and ensuring punctual pick-up and drop-off of designated passengers or items. The driver will inspect vehicles before and after trips, monitor fuel and maintenance needs, and report any mechanical issues promptly. The role also involves keeping the vehicle clean and presentable, following all traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate driving logs or delivery records as required. The Private Driver will communicate clearly with supervisors and passengers, provide courteous service, and support occasional errands or tasks that require secure and discreet transport.

Qualifications

• Professional driving skills, including experience with Truck Driving and handling a Truck safely and responsibly.
• Valid CDL Class A or equivalent professional driving license, with a strong record of safe driving and compliance with traffic regulations.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully with passengers, colleagues, and external partners.
• Strong knowledge of local routes in and around Serrekunda and ability to plan efficient and safe travel paths.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate with service providers when required.
• High level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism, including punctuality and respect for confidentiality.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and assist with loading or unloading light to moderate items when needed.
• Previous experience as a company, private, or professional driver is preferred; background in logistics or transportation is a plus.
