Role Overview

This position is for a product designer who can work across the full design process to help shape a social commerce experience for a large consumer market. The work involves combining data-informed thinking with strong product intuition and behavioral design. You will join a small team with high visibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the company’s next phase of growth.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to turn requirements into engaging product experiences.
• Design user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to strengthen brand assets and expand the design system.
• Share work early, collect input, and refine designs through iteration.
• Act quickly and with purpose to test assumptions, build alignment, and solve problems.
• Take ownership of design decisions while helping strengthen the community and your own design craft.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of product design experience on a cross-functional team shipping features regularly.
• Strong interest in design approaches that use game mechanics and emotional engagement.
• A systems-oriented mindset with the ability to recognize patterns and think holistically.
• Hands-on experience with design systems and inclusive design practices.
• A strong bias toward action, urgency, and focused execution.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, practical solutions.
• A collaborative attitude and belief in collective success over individual effort.

Location and Schedule

The role is based in San Mateo, California, with a hybrid arrangement that requires working from the office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $108,000 to $153,000 per year. Final pay may vary based on market location, knowledge, skills, and experience, and will be discussed during the interview process.
