About the role

ASTRAIT is creating the digital infrastructure layer for Europe’s space economy, designed to connect capabilities, opportunities, and data across a broad network of organizations. This role is focused on shaping that vision into a practical, validated minimum viable product and guiding the evolution of four major modules: Marketplace, Communication Hub, Opportunity Hub, and Business Intelligence Hub.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the product from the current mock-up stage through MVP delivery.
  • Prepare and manage budgeting, funding approach, and resource planning for both MVP development and future scaling.
  • Create product roadmaps, decide feature priorities, and work closely with engineering, design, and data teams.
  • Establish a shared data and system architecture foundation for a platform made up of multiple modules.
  • Drive customer research, pilot validation, and broader sector testing.
  • Coordinate alignment among stakeholders from companies, public agencies, and research organizations.
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning, pricing decisions, product positioning, and cross-team communication.

Candidate profile

  • Previous experience in product management or a similar position.
  • Strong ability to analyze information and convert findings into product choices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
  • Hands-on experience with gathering requirements, documenting needs, and owning a roadmap.
  • Exposure to market research, business case creation, or funding planning is an advantage.
  • Interest in technology-led or platform-based products, and curiosity about space and deep-tech environments.
  • Familiarity with modern software platforms and how frontend and backend layers connect is an added benefit.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working on-site in Bremen alongside the founders, local team members, and external stakeholders.
