As a Technical Product Manager, you will guide important product efforts and develop a strong understanding of the platform’s technical strengths and constraints. You will convert business needs into precise requirements, own initiatives from planning to launch, and remain accountable through roadmap planning, release preparation, and post-launch adoption. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to prioritize work and deliver value. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Product Manager with strategic operational workstreams.
  • Turn business priorities into detailed technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans, including scoping discussions and strong written documentation.
  • Work in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to define, rank, and deliver valuable product capabilities.
  • Lead work across discovery, planning, development, testing, release, and post-launch improvements, while owning roadmap items end to end.
  • Create and maintain a structured intake and triage process for enhancement requests and operational tasks, capturing context, business impact, dependencies, and suggested priority for leadership review.
  • Track the most important platform risks and recurring operational issues, bringing them to leadership early to support prioritization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment, timelines, dependencies, risks, and progress updates across several initiatives.
  • Use data, client feedback, and market trends to guide product choices and strengthen feature value.
  • Own product documentation, release notes, internal enablement content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support client and internal conversations to refine requirements, confirm use cases, and encourage successful adoption.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude to improve speed and quality in communication, analysis, prompt creation, and documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, or technical project leadership within a software company.
  • Background in data, AI, e-commerce, marketplaces, pricing, or content optimization is preferred.
  • Experience working with Engineering and Data Science teams on APIs, data flows, analytics, or automation features.
  • Strong ability to convert unclear requests into well-defined requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation, and to drive work through cross-functional delivery.
  • Ability to interpret API-related technical documentation, including REST concepts, authentication patterns, payloads, and webhook basics.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with the Rithum for Brands (ChannelAdvisor) platform is preferred.
  • An intrapreneurial or founder-style mindset is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for documentation, requirement gathering, or solution building is preferred.
  • Exposure to integration-heavy environments involving APIs and webhooks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools used for technical delivery and operations such as JIRA, Notion, backlog management tools, documentation tools, and basic data analysis is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is USD 75,000 to 130,000 per year. Final compensation can vary based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. This role also includes a discretionary bonus equal to 10% of annual base salary for non-sales positions, along with a comprehensive benefits package and, where applicable, sales incentives.
