What you will do

• Take ownership of backlogged work orders and ensure the most urgent items are handled promptly.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders so work order priorities match production targets and delivery timelines.
• Partner with the Production Control Specialist to forecast, plan, and assign materials based on backlog needs.
• Make sure materials are distributed and handled properly so backlogged orders can be completed without delay.
• Track material availability and work with inventory teams to fix shortages or related issues before they disrupt output.
• Raise move orders whenever needed to keep production moving efficiently and reduce backlog pressure.
• Work with associated departments so move orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve problems linked to work order assignment, equipment, or work order requirements.
• Reduce downtime by quickly addressing obstacles that slow production progress.
• Maintain close coordination with Production Control to keep planning, forecasting, and material allocation aligned.
• Support and lead special projects within the value stream as assigned.

Experience and background

The company is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in production, operations, or supply chain environments. Prior hands-on exposure to backlog management, work order prioritization, troubleshooting, material handling, distribution, and forecasting is important.

Working arrangement and eligibility

This is a fully on-site role based in Shannon, Ireland, working Monday to Friday. Candidates must already be legally permitted to live and work in the hiring country.
