The Role
This position sits at the centre of plant operations in Hamilton. You will be responsible for organising, directing, and tracking production so output is delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The role includes managing the production plan, monitoring day-to-day throughput, and working closely with the production planner to review and fine-tune schedules as needed.
Work schedule: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

What You Will Do
- Guide, mentor, and support the team so daily production goals are achieved.
- Deliver production plans in line with budget expectations and key performance measures.
- Share production plans and results clearly with relevant stakeholders.
- Work with internal functions such as Quality, Planning, and Logistics, as well as external contacts.
- Make sure quality systems and product requirements are followed.
- Ensure all work aligns with company policies, regulatory obligations, and applicable standards.
- Prepare regular updates on production results and core metrics.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes using TPM and Lean methods.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at lowering costs and improving product quality.
What You Should Bring
- Background in production supervision and/or quality control, ideally within chemical manufacturing or a similar sector.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and coach others.
- Solid knowledge of safety, quality, and production workflows.
- Prior exposure to TPM, Lean, or broader continuous improvement practices is an advantage.
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability.
