About the Company
Dassault Aircraft Services India Private Limited (DASI) serves as the Indian arm of Dassault Aviation. Its role in India is to help drive and back the company’s activities across military aircraft support for Rafale, business aircraft support for Falcon, production purchasing and procurement, offset obligations, and logistics support for Dassault and partner employees working in India or on expatriation assignments.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for supporting industrial operations linked to technical data packages from the OEM, covering tooling, manufacturing, quality, program management, and supply management activities with Indian offset partners (IOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Head of Industrial Support on daily matters and all assigned industrial support activities.
- Assess and map the industrial capabilities of IOPs and other industries against Dassault requirements.
- Review OEM data packages and translate them into MBOM and manufacturing data.
- Use production-environment problem-solving skills to evaluate technical questions, discuss them with the HOD and OEM, and track the associated risks and corrective actions.
- Work closely with OEM teams on tooling matters, interchangeability, qualification plans, industrialization, and production engineering topics.
- Track industrialization plans from start to finish and coordinate with supplier shop-floor teams.
- Identify risks early, build mitigation plans, and drive escalation and closure of bottlenecks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical engineering.
- Strong understanding of aerospace primary parts manufacturing and assembly.
- Background in industrialization and production engineering.
- Experience in program management, execution, and supply management.
- Ability to work independently and handle conflict resolution effectively.
- Capability to interpret drawings and CATIA outputs.
- Comfortable using MS Excel, Project, and presentation tools.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the aerospace sector.
