Project Manager (Civil)

About the Role

This position leads and coordinates the design and construction stages of civil engineering projects. The role focuses on keeping work aligned with project goals, deadlines, and quality expectations while overseeing delivery in a way that supports safety, efficient operations, and successful completion of high-quality facilities.

Engineering Project Management

• Create project charters and detailed delivery plans that define the scope, goals, timeline, budget, and required resources.
• Work closely with stakeholders and ensure clear communication across the full project lifecycle.
• Track progress against milestones, risks, and performance indicators.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to make sure they match approved plans, schedules, budgets, and standards.
• Assess change requests and determine their impact on scope, cost, and timing.
• Support a seamless handover by ensuring permits, documentation, and operational readiness requirements are in place.

Technical Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate civil infrastructure designs covering roads, utilities, drainage, and site development works.
• Oversee construction execution to confirm compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil works and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and construction methods.
• Assist with quality inspections and site progress tracking.

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and standard operating requirements.
• Help resolve escalated matters and provide support when needed.
• Raise complex issues to the appropriate authority for further action.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position or an equivalent capacity is required.
• Experience with civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Background in construction supervision.
• Knowledge of site development and utilities.
• Ability to review technical drawings and drawings-related documents.
• Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management.

Additional Information

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered as a full-time, on-site position.
