Quality Engineer

Your Role

As a Quality Engineer with Guardian Glass, you will help uphold quality benchmarks and contribute to process improvements so products continue to satisfy customer and regulatory expectations. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams and build practical experience using quality methods that support the company’s reputation for strong product performance. The position is well suited to recent graduates or candidates with foundational manufacturing knowledge who want to grow a career in quality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System and support adherence to internal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the prompt identification and resolution of quality concerns to protect customer satisfaction.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at making production more effective and efficient.
• Learn and apply basic quality control practices, including sample inspection and production monitoring.
• Gather and review straightforward quality data to help reduce defects.
• Support supplier quality activities by checking material documentation and helping close quality issues.
• Help train production operators on quality standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to handle customer feedback and complaints.
• Assist with report preparation and with follow-ups on customer quality inquiries.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes and a strong interest in quality management.
• Careful attention to detail and a readiness to learn quality tools and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• A customer-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Ability to handle several tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Preferred Background

• Internship or project exposure related to manufacturing or quality.
• Basic familiarity with quality concepts such as inspections or data entry/recording.
• Additional quality training or certifications, such as introductory Six Sigma or similar courses, will be considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
