Role overview
A manufacturing employer in Vaughan is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join its day shift team. The position is focused on inspecting finished goods and machined components made from steel or aluminum, with compensation set at $23 to $30 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Examine machined parts with hand inspection equipment, fixtures, and indicators.
- Carry out inspections on completed products.
- Perform incoming and final inspections without supervision.
- Analyze and interpret inspection reports and related documentation.
- Manage non-conformance situations, including isolating affected material.
- Prepare and finalize NCRs and first article inspection reports.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 3 years of post-graduation experience working as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment producing finished goods from steel or aluminum.
- Practical experience with GD&T.
- Ability to read and work from 3D documentation.
