Role overview

In this position, you will provide specialist consultancy and support to staff across the department on recordkeeping functions, processes, procedures, systems, and related responsibilities.

Key duties

  • Offer advice and practical support to departmental teams on organisation-wide recordkeeping practices, systems, processes, and obligations.
  • Carry out reviews and audits of records management systems and associated procedures.
  • Help shape policies, procedures, and guidelines that strengthen information management.
  • Maintain the business classification scheme and work with stakeholders to update terminology or refine the scope where needed.
  • Support the design and delivery of training and business engagement activities linked to recordkeeping and records management requirements.
  • Contribute to business priorities by maintaining information and recordkeeping systems that are efficient, practical, and centred on users.
  • Coordinate and carry out records management projects.

Qualifications and licence

A current Western Australian C or C-A class driver’s licence, or an equivalent licence, is required.
