About the Role

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will help keep Anthropic’s hiring process moving by organizing interviews, managing candidate progress, and supporting a smooth experience from first contact through the later stages of recruiting. You will often be the first person candidates interact with, so your work will directly shape how they experience the company. In close partnership with recruiters, you will also look for ways to improve hiring workflows and strengthen the candidate journey as Anthropic continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a large volume of candidate interviews, debriefs, and reference checks while balancing availability across multiple stakeholders and handling complicated scheduling needs.
• Serve as the main contact for candidates and communicate with them in a friendly, clear, and supportive manner so they feel informed at every stage.
• Work with recruiting teammates to refine processes, especially in situations that are not clearly defined, and identify ways to improve efficiency and candidate satisfaction.
• Help build and roll out new candidate experience programs and hiring initiatives that support recruiting at scale.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a scheduling-heavy role, ideally in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Strong enthusiasm for delivering a great candidate experience as well as a positive experience for hiring managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft warm, informative emails.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with frequent questions, changing priorities, and new requests.
• Openness to feedback and the ability to give and receive it constructively.
• Strong problem-solving ability in ambiguous situations, with the habit of thinking through several possible solutions quickly.
• Experience partnering with recruiters strategically and helping improve their workflows.
• Genuine interest in Anthropic’s mission and its commitment to AI safety in research and product work.

Work Details & Compensation

This is a fully remote contract position. The hourly base rate is $70 USD, and the annualized compensation shown for the role is $145,600 USD. The contract runs for 6 months and may be extended, but it does not include a path to full-time conversion. Employment is handled through a talent partner that provides a dedicated benefits package.

Logistics

The minimum education requirement is a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and/or professional experience. The preferred field of study should be relevant to the role, as reflected through coursework, training, or work experience. Experience requirements are tied to internal job level expectations. Anthropic currently expects staff to spend at least 25% of their time in an office, though some roles may require more in-office time; however, this role is marked as fully remote in the posting. The company also states that it sponsors visas on a case-by-case basis and will make reasonable efforts to support visa processing if an offer is extended.
