Recruitment Consultant

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Recruitment Consultant to join an education-focused recruitment team covering schools in Kent. The role sits within a specialist Rec2Rec environment and is being hired through JSL Talent Partners on behalf of a recruitment agency expanding its headcount.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work closely with an experienced Business Manager to support school clients with day-to-day, long-term, and permanent staffing needs. The desk is already active and currently managed by the Director, with weekly billings in the region of £2,000 to £3,000, so you will inherit a live portfolio of clients and candidates rather than building from scratch.

Work Setup

This position follows a hybrid pattern. You will be expected in the office near Maidstone/Ashford for three days each week and work remotely for the remaining two days. The business also has a head office in Essex and provides support functions such as compliance, payroll, and marketing.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in education recruitment or a comparable recruitment niche. Because the client base is spread across rural areas, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

This is a warm desk with active clients and candidates, and commission is available from the first day. The role is being hired to add headcount in Kent.
