Role Overview
Delta View Post Acute is looking for a committed Registered Nurse to join its full-time care team. The position is based in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, with onsite work and AM/PM shift coverage available. The facility emphasizes resident-centered care in a supportive and collaborative setting.
The selected nurse will provide hands-on clinical support, help maintain a safe and compliant care environment, and contribute to positive day-to-day outcomes for residents.
Compensation and Schedule
Pay is listed at $43.00 per hour. This is a full-time position with both morning and evening shift options.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care based on physician instructions and each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Give medications and treatments carefully, accurately, and on schedule.
- Observe resident status closely and report meaningful changes without delay.
- Guide, oversee, and assist CNAs and other nursing team members as needed.
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, social services, and the broader interdisciplinary care team.
- Keep clinical notes complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and other resident care needs.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- A current, active California Registered Nurse license is required.
- Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is preferred.
- Strong ability to assess patients and apply sound critical thinking is important.
- Clear communication, good organization, and leadership skills are expected.
- A compassionate, resident-first approach to care is essential.
