Remote Construction Estimator

About the role

Roomi Group Corporation is looking to bring on an entry-to-intermediate Construction Estimator to work remotely with its team. The position focuses on preparing accurate project estimates, reviewing construction documents, and supporting client pricing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess drawings, specifications, and client messages to define the full scope and requirements of each project.
• Prepare take-offs and proposal documents using estimating tools in line with company SOPs and internal procedures.
• Spot cost and schedule risks that could affect project delivery.
• Handle client requests involving breakouts, schedules of values, value engineering, pricing revisions, escalations, and similar estimating scenarios.

Required profile

• A bachelor's degree in construction or a closely related field is required.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience working as an estimator and/or regularly interpreting construction blueprints.
• Excellent blueprint-reading ability.
• Strong command of estimating software, Excel, Word, and PDF readers.
• High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Compensation and growth

• There is a possibility of a pay increase after one to two years, depending on performance.
