Role summary
This is a contract research opportunity for a remote academic researcher. You will support a client project by planning studies, carrying out research work, evaluating findings, and helping turn the results into publication-ready outputs.
Work setup
The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. The engagement is on a contract basis.
Compensation
The pay for this role is between $20 and $55 per hour.
Core responsibilities
- Build and carry out academic research studies that match the goals of the project.
- Review existing literature to spot knowledge gaps and shape the research approach.
- Work with both qualitative and quantitative data using statistical and analytical methods.
- Draft, revise, and polish research papers, reports, and supporting documentation for publication.

Required background
- Prior experience in academic research or a closely related area is needed.
- Strong capability with data analysis and statistical software is required.
- Excellent academic writing and editing skills are essential.
- You should be comfortable working independently and delivering work on deadline.
