Role Overview
We are hiring a refined, discreet, and service-oriented Villa Manager / Private Residence Manager to take charge of the daily functioning of a private home for the owner of a major conglomerate. This position suits a hospitality professional with experience in luxury hotels, serviced residences, private homes, or VIP guest service settings. Malayalam communication skills are preferred because of household communication needs.
The role calls for meticulous attention to detail, a strong service mindset, the ability to coordinate household teams, and the confidence to manage a private villa smoothly while maintaining professionalism, cultural awareness, and complete confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the villa’s everyday operations and keep cleanliness, presentation, service quality, and readiness at a consistently high level.
- Direct and coordinate all household personnel, including housekeeping, kitchen, service, maintenance, gardening, drivers, and outside support teams.
- Plan staff shifts, assign duties, manage leave schedules, uphold grooming and service standards, and monitor day-to-day performance.
- Oversee maintenance work, repairs, preventive inspections, and all vendor-related visits in a timely and organized manner.
- Work with suppliers, contractors, service partners, and household vendors to ensure dependable quality and on-time delivery.
- Track household stock such as groceries, supplies, uniforms, linen, equipment, and other villa essentials.
- Assist with family needs, guest arrivals, VIP hospitality, private functions, and routine service requests.
- Protect the privacy of the Principal, family members, guests, and all matters related to the household.
- Maintain simple records for expenses, inventory, vendor visits, maintenance plans, attendance, and household needs.
- Stay ahead of household requirements so the residence operates seamlessly with minimal interruption.
Requirements
- Background in hospitality, luxury service, private residences, serviced apartments, or VIP guest-facing environments.
- Malayalam language ability is preferred.
- Experience in roles such as Villa Manager, House Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Butler Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, Front Office Supervisor, or a similar hospitality/private household position.
- Sound knowledge of premium service standards, cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.
- Capability to lead household staff and manage several operational tasks each day.
- Strong communication, grooming, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- A mature, dependable, discreet, and confidentiality-conscious approach.
- Flexibility to work hours that change based on household requirements.
- English fluency is required; Hindi and/or Malayalam will be an added advantage.
