Retail Assistant - Warrawong

About the role

ALDI is looking for a part-time Store Assistant to join the Warrawong team. This role is a great starting point for someone who wants to build a retail career, even without prior experience. The store operates daily, including weekends and public holidays, and the work offers plenty of variety because team members are exposed to different parts of the store rather than being limited to one area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at the checkout and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Replenish stock so shelves remain full and customers can easily find the products they want.
• Check stock handling standards, including product dates and correct pricing.
• Set up attractive displays for ALDI special buys.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-presented store environment.

What to expect

This position offers an hourly rate of $31.27 plus shift allowances. The role averages 20 hours per week and comes with permanent part-time benefits rather than casual conditions, including paid leave, parental leave, and sick leave.
