Retail Associate

Role overview

As a Retail Associate, you will help the store achieve or surpass sales and profit objectives by building strong customer loyalty, delivering effective selling support, and carrying out daily store activities with care and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Track store sales and KPI goals, as well as your own performance targets, and take responsibility for meeting or exceeding them by using the available store resources.
• Deliver the brand’s customer service standards so shoppers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
• Represent the brand positively at all times by reflecting its values and attitude.
• Use seasonal product knowledge and brand knowledge effectively during customer conversations and selling interactions.
• Explain product features, advantages, and unique selling points clearly so customers can make informed choices and feel more connected to the brand.
• Follow all company policies and standard procedures without exception.
• Maintain visual merchandising and in-store communication standards to the required level.
• Receive merchandise efficiently, restock selling areas as needed, and keep fixtures full so the full product range is visible on the sales floor.
• Carry out cash register transactions accurately and quickly.
• Help reduce loss in both the stockroom and on the sales floor.
• Support store operations in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Work respectfully and collaboratively with teammates.
• Complete all assigned training and apply that learning in day-to-day work.
• Look for coaching and learning opportunities to keep improving your performance.

Requirements

• High school education is mandatory.
• About 6 months of experience in a sports or fashion retail environment with customer and commercial focus is preferred.
• Basic numeracy, reading, and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work within retail processes, store operations, and customer service standards.

Relationships

You will interact regularly with customers, peers, and your supervisor.
