Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate position in North Edmonton, Alberta. The role centers on helping customers choose furniture, appliances, and home electronics that match their needs while delivering a positive in-store experience. You will welcome shoppers, share product details, respond to questions, assist through the buying process, and help drive the store toward its sales targets. Keeping the showroom inviting, tidy, and easy to navigate is also an important part of the job.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and people skills, with the ability to create a friendly experience and build long-term client relationships.
• Confidence in selling and negotiating, along with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Knowledge of products, or a readiness to learn about furniture, appliances, and electronics so features and benefits can be explained clearly.
• Good organization and multitasking abilities to handle transactions, support inventory tasks, and maintain a polished showroom.
• Comfort working as part of a team and contributing to shared sales objectives.
• Retail or sales background is considered an advantage.
• High school completion or an equivalent credential is required; additional post-secondary study is beneficial.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are helpful.
