Role Overview
This position is for an experienced Sales Development Representative based in Sydney, NSW. The role follows a hybrid working model, combining work from home and office-based collaboration. The main purpose of the role is to support Sales Account Executives by qualifying outbound leads, managing inbound interest, and generating opportunities that contribute directly to revenue.
This is a quota-carrying role focused on qualified lead delivery and converting those leads into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to qualify interest in Rimini Street services, including follow-up on marketing campaigns and cold outreach.
- Book meetings and appointments with prospective customers.
- Respond to and qualify incoming calls and email inquiries from prospects and clients.
- Present the company’s value proposition clearly and handle early-stage objections while arranging meetings.
- Carry out telephone outreach before and after events.
- Meet monthly targets for high-quality leads and convert them into opportunities.
- Plan daily territory activity, manage geographic or vertical accounts, and use phone time efficiently through preparation and disciplined scheduling.
- Work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with contacts at all organizational levels and identify the decision-maker.
- Stay up to date on Rimini Street’s enterprise software support offerings.
Additional Requirements and Experience
- Demonstrated success in meeting measurable outcomes such as appointment volume and lead quality.
- Experience creating executive-level leads for enterprise organizations.
- Ability to operate effectively on your own in a remote setting.
- Strong verbal communication with a confident and credible style.
- Background in inside sales.
- Hands-on familiarity with sales and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Discover.org, OneSource, InsideView, and LinkedIn.
- Self-motivated approach with strong teamwork habits.
- Solid time-management capabilities.
- Professional, upbeat phone manner, strong listening ability, and good written communication.
- Comfort using standard business tools such as email and voicemail systems.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Location: Hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW.
Experience expected: 3 to 5 years in sales development, lead qualification, telesales, inside sales, or another B2B outbound environment.
