Its product range includes plasters, wall putty, tile adhesives and grouts, block jointing mortars, flooring screeds, high-strength industrial grouts, waterproofing solutions, grinding aids, and specialized admixtures. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, has approvals from major government departments and corporations, and was ranked among the top 10 building materials manufacturers of 2023 by Industry Outlook Poll. With three plants located across Gujarat and an automated production capacity of 1 lakh tons per annum, the company has the capability to double output. Its products are supplied to builders, infrastructure projects, and the retail market across the western region. The business is now expanding sales efforts and hiring Sales Executives in Gujarat.
Role Summary
The Sales Executive will take full ownership of business development in an assigned city or region, with a focus on building demand and growing sales for the company’s products. The role calls for a proactive, target-driven professional with strong experience in construction materials or building chemicals, along with hands-on capability in distributor management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive both primary and secondary sales against assigned volume and value targets.
- Identify, appoint, and support channel partners such as dealers, distributors, and stockists, while helping them achieve their sales goals.
- Build relationships with civil contractors, architects, builders, tiling contractors, and masons to increase awareness and product adoption.
- Generate and convert business leads through site visits, customer meetings, and targeted cold calling.
- Ensure every lead is followed up within 24 hours of creation.
- Conduct product sampling and demonstrations for key decision-makers.
- Arrange mason meets, kit meets, and other promotional activities in coordination with dealers.
- Onboard and manage tiling contractors to encourage consistent product usage.
- Retain existing stakeholders and expand both product range and sales volumes.
- Provide on-site support and service to contractors as needed.
- Use technical discussions and site visits to influence project specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily sales reports, lead status updates, and progress records for head office review.
- Inform head office about upcoming exhibitions in the city or state so participation can be planned to improve brand visibility and reach.
- Coordinate with head office, plant, logistics, and customers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Follow up on payments and update head office promptly if issues arise so action can be taken quickly.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have proven exposure to channel sales, project sales, retail and B2C sales, and distributor management in the construction or building materials sector. The role requires field experience, familiarity with the local network of architects, applicators, contractors, masons, and builders, and a strong ability to build business through direct outreach and relationship management.
