This position combines product analysis and project management responsibilities for a product environment centered on knowledge management and AI-enabled capabilities. Core responsibilities: product and analysis

• Work with stakeholders, technical leads, and business owners to gather, confirm, and document requirements clearly enough for engineering teams to build without repeated follow-up.
• Break down complicated business problems into staged delivery pieces and identify the smallest viable scope to test an idea before committing to a full build.
• Build a strong understanding of the organization’s knowledge management environment, user research processes, and current gaps in AI capabilities.
• Partner with data curation teams to define metadata rules, check data quality, and make sure AI tools are trained or fed with the right information.
• Plan and run A/B tests and evaluation methods for AI agent performance, then use the findings to guide backlog priorities.
• Gather user input, product usage data, and model performance indicators to improve agent behavior and product direction over time.
• Keep product documents current, including feature specifications, user guides, and release notes, using AI tools to reduce delays in documentation updates.

Core responsibilities: project management and delivery

• Own delivery planning end to end, including scope, milestones, timelines, resource planning, and dependency tracking across squads and workstreams.
• Convert product roadmaps into sprint-level plans with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, keeping focus on outcomes instead of process for its own sake.
• Identify risks, blockers, and scope changes early and recommend practical mitigation actions rather than only reporting status.
• Create stakeholder updates tailored to the audience, providing executives with concise insights and delivery teams with detailed clarity.
• Coordinate handoffs across engineering, data, design, and business functions to improve integration quality and limit rework.
• Support change management by helping stakeholders understand trade-offs and the delivery impact of scope expansion.

• Serve as the link between business needs and technical execution, contributing meaningfully to both discussions.
• Run product demos and milestone reviews with structured agendas, clear decisions, and practical next steps.
• Remove blockers proactively instead of waiting for issues to surface in stand-up meetings.
• Show curiosity and independent thinking by questioning assumptions, reviewing technical documentation, and challenging approaches constructively.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in product analysis, product management, or business analysis within an agile setting, ideally including at least one AI or data platform product.
• A PSPO, CSPO, or similar product ownership certification is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience querying and interpreting data in Snowflake and/or AWS RDS, including reading tables, tracing lineage, and combining sources to answer business questions independently.
• Proven ability to build LLM-supported workflows or agents for a real business use case, beyond simple prompt experimentation.
• Experience with vector databases or semantic search tools such as Elasticsearch, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar is highly desirable.
• Comfort working in Figma or a similar wireframing tool, including the ability to create mid-fidelity mockups independently.
• Strong ability to write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that require little or no rewriting by QA teams.
• Demonstrated cross-functional project management in agile or hybrid delivery environments, including dependency handling and stakeholder communication.
• Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, plus experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience is preferred for the role.

Additional information

The role is based in Germany and is structured as a full-time onsite position. Experience in management consulting or professional services would be advantageous. Exposure to knowledge management, enterprise search, or research technology is also beneficial. Familiarity with API design, OAuth, webhook-based integrations, dbt, Airflow, or data pipeline orchestration concepts is an added plus. Additional delivery certifications such as PMP or SAFe are valued but not required.
