Role overview
This position is responsible for steering and supervising project management work across customer deliveries within the Hybrid Network Services space. The role is designed to strengthen customer experience, shorten turnaround times, improve cost efficiency and productivity, ensure first-time-right delivery, and make processes and systems simpler to use and follow. It is a tactical leadership role that helps shape operating plans in line with business strategy and can influence the business unit’s medium-term outcomes.
Qualifications and experience
A B.Tech or Diploma is required, with an MBA preferred. The role calls for at least 8 years of experience in technical support and project delivery within the technology sector.
Skills and knowledge needed
The successful candidate should bring strong capability in delivering large, integrated, and complex services; understand how technology and domain solutions are adopted in the industry; and be comfortable managing both internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires commercial awareness, a solid grasp of market trends, strong customer service orientation, project management discipline, quality control, budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
What you will do
- Build and manage execution plans for projects of all sizes, from small assignments to complex implementations.
- Handle hardware planning, environment setup, documentation, and application deployment across different services and applications.
- Assign resources according to the skills and capabilities needed for each project.
- Monitor and support the procurement process linked to project delivery.
- Coach technical implementation leads and the program management team on low-level design and execution within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Take part in and lead customer review discussions for major and complex projects.
- Mentor the team in managing all assigned projects effectively.
- Assess OEM, partner, and vendor performance on a regular basis.
- Review business processes and overall performance against targets such as turnaround time, ease of use, first-time-right, and cost.
- Measure completed projects against their KPIs and track delivery success.
- Join review calls to provide progress updates, address dependencies, and remove blockers.
- Oversee change-plan rollout and adjust course where needed.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as sales support, commercial, and sales to identify issues and opportunities.
- Escalate delivery risks and timeline concerns to senior management when required.
- Review project progress and margins regularly, and help speed up revenue realization by prioritizing orders appropriately.
- Hold periodic discussions with customers, stakeholders, and vendors to review issues and action items.
- Identify improvement areas and initiate actions to address customer concerns related to order delivery.
- Investigate problems, apply corrective actions, and provide technical and workflow guidance to support smooth network and system integration.
- Create service realization documents and SOPs for Service Delivery, and handle escalated issues.
- Ensure completed projects are formally transitioned to the Operations team after all deliverables are finished.
Additional information
This role is based in Singapore and is a full-time, onsite position. The job is focused on tactical execution with significant responsibility for delivery governance, escalation handling, and operational handover.
