Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is tasked with keeping day-to-day property operations running smoothly, with a strong focus on cleanliness, facilities upkeep, maintenance, and client service standards. This position oversees third-party service providers, checks that service levels meet agreed KPIs and SLAs, and helps ensure the property is operated efficiently.
Operations and Site Oversight
- Carry out routine site inspections and daily walkthroughs.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly logs, reports, and checklists.
- Arrange event setup needs and other operational requirements based on client instructions.
- Handle shift handovers and deal with client questions or concerns.
- Work within a rotating shift pattern that includes morning, afternoon, and night duties.
Facilities and Contractor Coordination
- Manage third-party service providers across housekeeping, food and beverage, security, laundry, transport, soft FM such as landscaping, and hard FM including civil works, MEP, and IT.
- Monitor delivery against the Scope of Work, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Track contractor output and ensure the right staff are deployed.
- Log maintenance issues and follow up on repair activity.
- Compile snag lists for pre-event, post-event, and pre-opening work.
Assets, Compliance, and Controls
- Keep track of asset inventory, storage, and internal movement.
- Maintain accurate asset records and escalate any mismatches or missing items.
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, security procedures, and food safety rules including EFST and ADAFSA standards.
- Oversee waste handling and preventive maintenance planning.
Documentation and Training
- Support the drafting and review of SOPs.
- Guide service providers on operational procedures and provide training support where needed.
- Share operational progress updates with management as requested.
Qualifications
A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a similar discipline is required. Relevant experience in hospitality, leisure, tourism, or facilities management is expected, and prior exposure to managing third-party contractors is an advantage.
