Role Overview
Upaya is hiring a Social Media Associate to work from its head office in Thapagau. The role is focused on planning, publishing, and improving content across social platforms while keeping brand messaging, tone, and visuals aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a posting plan, manage the publishing schedule, and share content across the company’s social channels.
- Keep the content calendar synced with campaigns so that messaging, tone, and design stay consistent.
- Support the production of short videos and social posts by coordinating with designers and editors.
- Write captions, content copy, and creative ideas, and help draft scripts for videos.
- Monitor social media trends and identify new content angles and opportunities.
- Review platform performance metrics and suggest ways to improve results.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or field.
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or higher.
- Strong awareness of current social media trends and popular content formats.
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when needed.
